Kids and Crew Terrarium Workshop

Thursday, August 2nd

6 – 8 PM

Ages: 7 – 11

Kids and their crew (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc.) will make their own beautiful, tiny green world! Terrariums are miniature gardens in glass containers — a lovely way to bring a bit of greenery indoors.

In this “hands-on” class, kids will have so much fun together while nurturing their identity as a “plant artist” using glass vessels, pebbles, animal figurines, fairies, mosses, and a range of low- and medium-light plants. They will be taken through the process “step-by-step”, and will leave with their very own creation (and instructions on how to care for it).

All materials are included. Please feel free to bring snacks and beverages. We ask parents to keep in mind that creating a terrarium involves using glass containers. Students are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes.
